Master Data Management company collaborates with Aarhus University to offer a three-year study under the industrial research program of Innovation Fund Denmark
Aarhus, Denmark, November 30, 2020 – Stibo Systems, a global leader in Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, and Graduate School of Natural Sciences, Aarhus University (GSNS) are collaborating, in order to foster innovation in the data business. “Innovation is a top priority for future success”, says Ian Rendall, Chief Innovation Office at Stibo Systems. “We’re excited to see how an academic research program such as this can further fuel innovation”, he continues.
In a first step, the two partners are offering a three-year study under the industrial research program of Innovation Fund Denmark. The study will be within the topic of Recommender Systems in Master Data Management for improved Data Quality and Data Governance. Upon successful completion the student will be awarded a PhD degree from Aarhus University. “We are passionate about data, and we are expecting our future student to feel the same,” says Jesper Grode, Product Strategy Director, Multidomain Master Data Management. “We’ve set ambitious goals for this project, both from an innovation standpoint, as well as a solid rooting in academic, peer reviewed research which will deliver more than just ‘good hunches’, but a proven and hence trustworthy approach to machine assisted Data Quality & Governance tooling in MDM”.
The project is also supported by the Stibo Accelerator to further drive innovation, offering an academically inspiring work environment.
